Thanks to the family business and its representatives: Nicolas and Jovana from Xiro Destilerija at Gospodara Vučića 207, Beograd 11050, we had the opportunity to make our presentation as a pop-up coffee shop within their newly opened restaurant in Serbia.

We had our tryout on Wednesday, January 15th from 10 am to 5 pm, as recommended by Nicolas. Anthony, Julio's 20 year old son, was trained by Markus and will continue the project after our return to Germany.

We found out that their 6-year-old family distillery business, located near the border of Kosovo, is built on the same values as our coffees: direct cooperation with small fruit farmers whom they have valued as good friends since childhood.

Our freshly roasted coffee in Germany is presented and used for our brewed coffees in their local. A pourover filter coffee will be presented and delicate espresso will be brewed with our lever espresso machine - Bezzera Strega Top (traditional Italian original way).

During lunch we ordered and enjoyed Xiro Piletina Izdvajamo and Caprese Salata. We warmly invite you to come and experience this restaurant if you are traveling to Belgrade. Also their rakia, honey and coffee liqueur are highly recommended.

We hope through the start of the pop-up KAFFEEKostBAR in Belrad, Serbia, minimalistic as a stationary concept, we can push a win-win solution with other same minded coffee shops and restaurants with their pursuit for better coffee quality and righteousness within their local.
